Seaside #33

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tal Paz-Fridman
@talpazfridman
I am an artist specializing in what I call creative + documentary photography. To paraphrase the description of the great American photographer Sam Abell, my style of photography is documentary in the sense that I record the world as it is, however, it has transcendent qualities, that start at the documentary level, yet open to interpretation on an aesthetic level as well.
I am inspired by the natural world and especially by the seas and oceans.

Walking on the beach on a winter day, Ma’agan Michael beach, Israel.
*****
I don't really know why, but I am always drawn to photograph people who radiate a kind of loneliness or who seem to stand in their solitude against (or perhaps along) something colossal like nature.
