The Dachau artist Richard Wurm (* 1971) already intensively dealt with art at school. In 1989 he took a course with Prof. Dieter Rehm (today President of the AdbK). During his successful studies at the Technical University of Munich and his career as a civil engineer, he did not completely lose sight of art. In 2012 he started painting professionally.
Richard Wurm's oeuvre has included several hundred works since the beginning of his creative career. Richard Wurm began his painterly development with figurative 30x30 cm works by applying and sanding off wax, acrylic and dispersion paint.
In order to avoid the development of dust, in 2013 he began to work with his ever-growing images instead of using the high-pressure water jet with the grinding machine.
