When I was a child, I was always looking for magic in the world around me. Now I make my own. When I put my pen to paper, I create something from nothing. I bring my surreal, imagined worlds to life - this is one magic. As an artist and illustrator, I’ve learned to see another kind of magic all around me, in the details of nature and people. My work is continually inspired by the great diversity of our planet, by the graceful and bizarre creatures and plants that inhabit it, by the endless depths of the ocean waves, the enchantment of the forests, the mysteries of the stars in the sky. With just a little bit of ink I can tell stories about all of these things, and I hope that they will make you pause and wonder, remind you of a special person or moment, let you escape into an impossible world, or awaken your curiosity
